Japan 2020

——————

Thank you for taking interest in this trip. Japan has been a big part in my photography adventure and I would like to share with you a part of my experience and hopefully to share some inspiration. I have been to Japan on multiple occasions and last year, October 2018, I went on a solo trip, mainly for the purpose of connecting to one’s self by means of photography. It was a mix of good and bad results but one thing is for sure – I have learned a lot. Next year, I will be travelling back to Japan to pay homage to the place where my creative side has been stirred and challenged, and I plan to bring along a group of 6-8 people. For 7 days, I will be leading the group, along with my friend Kevin Paul Zilabbo to places that I personally have been to and have seen photographic potentials. These are places that shy away from most of the crowds. From the countryside places to national parks. Part of this trip will be commuting via local bus and trains, and staying in hostels to maximize time for a specific place. Informal lessons regarding technical aspects with camera, gears, tips and tricks will also be conducted. Timing and planning is also maximized to take advantage of photographic opportunities such as waking up before sunrise and staying late before sunset, etc. This is simply my way of giving back to the photography community.
